Apple QuickTime, Apple's steaming media framework, is available for Apple Mac OS X as well as Microsoft Windows.  In the Windows version however, a vulneralbility exists via the functionality provided by the Active X control.

Apple has released Security Update 2008-001, addressing multiple vulnerabilities in Mac OS X. Vulnerabilities in URL handling, photocasts and web page rendering can lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the current user.
