This is not the most extensive list of computer terms on the internet, nor do we want it to be. The point of this area is to notate some of the more common terms used in system security. Consequently, we chose not to compile every security term available but rather have something that's not so overwhelming to use. This gives you the ability to have a quick reference to the most common terms. Using the Security Terms and Definitions below, combined with the online Flash Cards, will give you a pretty good understanding of security definitions. These provisions will also equip you with the tools necessary to maintain an intelligent conversation with other security professionals.
